My motorhomes

This is a 1997 Foretravel U320 SE. 40 feet in length. Cummins M11+ 450 horsepower, 1525 lb/ft torque. Full authority Allison WT 4000 series 6 speed transmission. Gross weight of 32000 lbs. Semi-monocoque Unibody construction. This coach is a pleasure to drive. With an 8-airbag Air-ride constant-adjustment suspension, she corners very well with little or no sway. A very quiet and smooth ride down the highway. No fighting crosswinds or wind turbulence from other traffic with this coach. With the Cummins M11+ diesel engine, used in tractor trucks towing up to 80,000 lbs, the engine is just coasting along in this vehicle

This was my Monaco Safari Trek 2480. While they called this a Class A coach-that was kind of a stretch.  Built on a Chevy P-32 truck chassis, it had no airbags.  GVW 14800 lbs.  Chevy 454 gasoline engine.  Minimal storage area.  This thing was a challenge to drive at times.  It was unique in that at only 26', it had no bedroom.  The salon, galley, and bath were 'normal' size, with a queen-sized bed being recessed in the overhead of the salon.  The bed could be lowered into the salon area with an electric motor running on four tracks.  Pretty cool!  It also sported a Dame Family airbrushed mural on the rear of the coach.  If you look closely, there are at least four different animals within the tiger.
